Who Needs A Cookie, Right Now?

We are pleased to announce that our tiny retail shop, at the front of our cookie factory headquarters, is finally open for walk-in traffic, each week on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays. We began this journey in October 2019 when we left our longtime home, the "little fish bowl", in Kansas City's Westside neighborhood and handed our space over to Yoli Tortilla. A series of unfortunate events forced us to move FOUR TIMES that fall and when we finally found our new home, in the Columbus Park neighborhood, Covid stormed in and forced us to hunker down and wait.

The most amazing thing happened - our business grew last year! Thank you to everyone who thought of Swoon for their Zoom celebrations and as sweet reminders that you care for one another, near and far. Our online shop kept us busy with standard offerings, for birthdays, new babies and Covid care packages, as well as our commitment to donate a cookie assortment, for every standard set sold, to first responders. We delivered cookies to doctor's offices, fire stations and every hospital, near and far! While we got amazing cards of thanks, it was really because of our wonderful customers that we were able to pay-it-forward.

We had hoped to have a big party, in August, to celebrate the return of Third Friday gallery walks, in Columbus Park, but it still isn't the time to celebrate. So instead we quietly opened our little shop with our always delicious sugar cookies and introduced some new companion treats. We hope you will stop by and say hello and if you are still shy about coming out, we will add these treats to our shop soon so you can have them delivered to your front door!
