That’s something we never get tired of hearing. Because at Swoon, what's inside our signature sugar cookies is as important as all that meets the eye. Like pure, natural ingredients mixed into a beloved family recipe that takes on new life in the creative hands of Swoon founder Sofia Varanka Hudson and the Swoonies.

It was in Hudson's furniture store Hudson Home, located in Kansas City's Crossroads Arts District, where locals first acquired a taste for her mother-in-law's cookies on monthly First Fridays art gallery opening nights. When Hudson Home moved out of the neighborhood in 2007, enthusiastic cookie customers tracked her down and Hudson knew the cookies were something special. The little company has grown one custom cookie assortment at a time.
